Diagnose before you spend
Look at add-to-cart rate, checkout initiation and completion separately. Each drop-off points to a different problem: product presentation, cost transparency, or checkout friction.
Product pages carry the store
Clear imagery, honest specifications, delivery expectations and returns policy do more for conversion than most design changes.
- Show delivery cost and timing early
- Answer the top five pre-purchase questions on the page
- Use real product photography over lifestyle-only imagery
Then scale traffic
Once your conversion path is stable, acquisition spend becomes measurable rather than speculative.
